Oh what fun!

Wow! We had such an amazing Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for this year. Dylan has been doing great at his new iSchool and has had only 1-2 sick days the entire semester (knock on wood). His allergies and astha are pretty much under control now. Flag football was a blast, and Dylan managed to get a touchdown in the last game.

It was such a treat to have family in town for the holiday. What are some things that made the weekend so special? Well. . .

We built a fort,

dressed Duke up for the cold weather,  :)

spent some time at the park on a gorgeous day,

woke up super early for Black Friday with my dad (I think it's become a tradition),

built a domino pyramid at Nana's,

ate some Orange Leaf (frozen yogurt) with Aunt Amy,

 2 spoons! Now that's talent!

and trimmed the tree (Well, almost. I'm saving most of the ornaments for next weekend).

We also played football with my family (Dylan got to be monkey in the middle), had Thanksgiving dinner with both families (Greenburg turkey!), learned to use the pogo stick (finally! I think Dylan got that for Christmas LAST year), got some awesome Black Friday deals, went on an extra long walk with Mom, Dad, their black lab, and Duke, had Starbuck's hot cocoa with Dylan, took Nana out for her 83rd birthday, and even managed to relax a little with my sweet husband. :)

I'm so giddy that the holiday season is here! I think my enthusiasm for Christmas music is already getting on Tim's nerves. I'll try to tone it down a notch. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm for picture taking is dwindling. You may have noticed that there weren't many posed pictures of Dylan. He's very smiley and cheerful until I whip out the camera, but I'll try to do a better job at Christmas. I also took these pictures with my phone so the quality isn't great, but you het the idea.

Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Love, Miss Jenny

  1. How fun! I didn't get to go Black Friday shopping until that afternoon. :( I also think Jeff is getting tired of all of the Christmas music too. I love it and start playing it on Thanksgiving.
